Glamping Hub is a third-party booking website that provides guests worldwide access to the largest curated collection of unique outdoor accommodations, from bell tents and tipis to rustic cabins and lodges.
As a content and copy writer for Glamping Hub, I wrote descriptions for roughly 75+ property listings each month.
Each property listing was broken down by a description of the accommodation, its location and surroundings, and all the activities one might find in the area. Overall, the accommodation description gave potential guests a brief overview, along with any amenities and facilities on site that made it one-of-a-kind. Each property required initial research of the destination to give a glimpse into the local activities, whether it was a relaxing deep-soak in nearby hot springs or a thrilling sky-diving adventure.
Aside from writing content for each property listing, I was responsible for organizing information and data inside the GlampingHub CMS platform. This additional task included steps such as:
- Creating clever or enticing property listing names (headlines) and Call-to-actions (CTAs)
- Arranging property photos for visual readability like a walk-through
- Ticking off amenity checkboxes for search filters
